Daydrop — Privacy Policy

Notice: Daydrop is currently in an early-launch phase and available on the App Store. A formal legal entity has not yet been incorporated. By using Daydrop, you acknowledge that the Service is operated by an individual founder. All data is handled with care and in compliance with applicable privacy and consumer protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Daydrop ("Daydrop," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use the Daydrop iOS application and any related services (collectively, the "Service").

Daydrop is a personal productivity and journaling application. Privacy is foundational to its design:

Offline-first. Daydrop is fully functional without an internet connection and without creating an account. All of your content is stored locally on your device by default.
No tracking. Daydrop contains no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, no tracking SDKs, and no advertising identifiers. We do not track you.
Sync is optional. Your data is only transmitted off your device if you choose to sign in and enable cloud sync.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information (only if you choose to sign in)

Creating an account is optional. If you sign in, we collect:

Supported sign-in methods: Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, and email/password. If you use Sign in with Apple, you may choose to hide your email address; we will only receive the private relay address Apple provides.

2.2 Content You Create ("User Content")

Daydrop stores the content you create in the app. This may include:

Tasks and to-dos — titles, completion status, dates, recurrence rules, ordering
Daily journal entries — mood ratings, highlights, gratitude notes, things learned, free writing
Journal photos — photos you attach to journal entries
